Jade is a Licensed Professional Counselor who strives to help individuals make positive changes in their lives so they can reach their goals and fullest potential. Jade believes in building a trusting relationship with each of her clients by taking an honest and genuine approach to therapy. Her goal is to equip clients with the tools necessary to cope with life’s various stressors and challenges successfully and improve overall well-being.
Jade is passionate about working with individuals who have faced trauma and she is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), two evidence-based interventions that help clients overcome their trauma-related symptoms. Jade also specializes in working with depressive, anxious, and mood disorders using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach that helps clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how this knowledge can be applied to make positive changes in one’s life. Jade is also skilled at treating individuals with personality disorders including Borderline Personality Disorder by using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that provides clients with the skills necessary to improve their ability to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, form healthy interpersonal relationships, and live a more mindful and fulfilling life.
Jade is originally from the Green Bay area. In her spare time, Jade enjoys scrapbooking, crocheting, going to concerts, and spending time with her husband, dog, and family up north on the lake.
