As a person who cherishes all diversity within humanity, I want to help you on your terms and not mine. If you are seeking an accepting, friendly, personable approach to counseling, I will be a good fit for you. I help only in the areas where help is desired and will celebrate with you who you are and how you live.
My approach uses an eclectic method that is highly adaptable to your specific needs and is provided in a casual, conversational type of interaction. I want to work with you, not against or above you. Theories/methods that lend strongly to my practice include Existential Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Affirmative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and Psychoeducation. I am highly skilled in helping individuals with all of life’s transitions, traditional and alternate. I am very experienced in writing letters of recommendation for gender affirming medical care. I have personal and professional experience in gender transitioning and overcoming the difficulties that may come from it.
