Mike Anderson has been doing individual, family, and couples therapy for over 30 years. He is an associate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and a member of The International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Mike’s graduate degree is in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin with undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy. His approach is eclectic with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral, existential, and problem-solving therapy. He has been trained in transactional analysis and enjoys working with the Christian and spiritual perspectives.
Mike also has significant experience in working with sexual perpetrators, teenagers, and veterans. He has worked in an adolescent correctional facility and has been a director of a therapeutic community.
