I have been in the in the field of mental health for nearly 30 years working in various capacities. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2003 and have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapist for nearly 10 years. My style is positive and strength-based along with challenging problematic thoughts and behaviors that do not support a satisfying and productive lifestyle. I focus on maximizing and utilizing strengths to encourage positive change. I take a client centered approach to counseling and believe that everyone is capable of change with guidance, support and learning new tools.
I work with adults in areas including life transitions, relationship issues, stress management, conflict resolution, depression, anxiety and mood disorders. I have experience working with individuals, families and couples.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family, which includes my husband and two adult daughters. In addition I enjoy entertaining, cooking/baking, volunteering, being involved with my church community and traveling both domestic as well as abroad. I have lived and worked in the Green Bay area for the past 30 years.
I look forward to working with clients in a therapeutic partnership with the goal of resolving issues, managing illness and leading a healthy lifestyle.
